- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup crushed tortilla chips (for topping)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and a little water, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread cooked beef in a baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and green onions.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes until bubbly and hot.
- Garnish with cilantro and crushed tortilla chips before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tortilla chips, sliced veggies, or crusty bread.
- For extra flavor, add chopped jalapenos or hot sauce.
