Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pastry dough and cut into circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
- In a bowl, mix sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour.
- Place a spoonful of apple filling into the center of each pastry circle.
- Fold the pastry over to form a half-moon shape and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve.
