- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and black pepper.
- Stir in maple syrup until well mixed.
- Fold in crumbled bacon.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped chives if desired. Serve warm with bread or crackers.
Notes
Serve immediately for best flavor. Can be made ahead and reheated. Adjust maple syrup for sweetness preference.
