- 1 lb (450g) cooked pulled beef
- 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)
- Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut puff pastry into squares approximately 3×3 inches.
- Spoon pulled beef onto the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over the beef and seal the edges by pressing gently.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
Notes
Ensure not to overfill the puff pastries to prevent bursting during baking. For added flavor, mix herbs into the pulled beef before assembling.
