Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around edges.
- Allow to cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- For extra chewiness, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
- Can substitute walnuts or omit nuts for nut-free version.
