  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Cut in chilled butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake crust for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  4. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
  5. Whisk in eggs until smooth. Stir in pecans.
  6. Pour filling over baked crust. Bake for another 20-25 minutes until set.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy!
