- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cook until mushrooms are browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned and cooked through, about 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stir well to combine.
- Pour in beef broth, stirring constantly until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Serve hot over cooked egg noodles or pasta, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- You can substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
- Add extra mushrooms or onions for more flavor.
- Best served immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
