  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Mix minced garlic and chopped parsley with melted butter. Brush each roll generously with garlic butter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Brush with additional garlic butter before serving for extra flavor.
