- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Mix minced garlic and chopped parsley with melted butter. Brush each roll generously with garlic butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with additional garlic butter before serving for extra flavor.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese to the dough.
- Serve warm with additional butter or your favorite dip.
