- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Gently punch down the dough and shape into rolls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cover and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm or allow to cool and reheat as needed.
Notes
- For softer rolls, brush with melted butter before baking.
- You can prepare the dough a day in advance and refrigerate overnight.
