Instructions
- Activate yeast by combining warm milk and a teaspoon of sugar; let sit until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Combine in the activated yeast mixture, eggs, and melted butter; knead until smooth.
- Fold in dried fruits and nuts.
- Cover dough and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
