Ingredients

- 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place beef, potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic into the crock pot.
- Add beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until beef is tender and vegetables are cooked.
- Add peas in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- For a thicker stew, mix 2 tbsp flour with a little water and add to the crock pot during the last hour.
- You can substitute ground beef for cubes for quicker prep.
