- 1.5 pounds beef sirloin, sliced into strips
- 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour over ingredients in cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add to the slow cooker and stir well.
- Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over steamed rice garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- You can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for different variations.
- For thicker sauce, add extra cornstarch slurry and cook until desired consistency.
