Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds beef sirloin, sliced into strips
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour over ingredients in cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  4. Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add to the slow cooker and stir well.
  5. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice garnished with chopped green onions.
