- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (about 8 oz)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4-5 fresh figs, sliced
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh thyme leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and roll slightly to smooth out seams.
- Place the brie wheel in the center of the pastry.
- Spread honey over the top of the brie and arrange fig slices on top.
- Fold the pastry over the cheese, trimming any excess, and seal the edges.
- Brush the pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Garnish with thyme leaves before serving. Serve warm with crusty bread or crackers.

- Ensure the puff pastry is thawed but still cold for easier wrapping.
- Adjust honey and fig amounts to taste for sweetness.
