- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Romano cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice, heavy cream, and Romano cheese. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet to coat with sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or pasta for a complete meal.
