- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream and stir well.
- Return cooked pasta to the pot, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes or cooked chicken.
- You can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
