Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate together over a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and eggs, whisking until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla extract to the egg mixture.
  5. Gradually stir in melted chocolate mixture.
  6. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; fold into the wet ingredients.
  7. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely.
  8. Meanwhile, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  9. Gently fold whipped cream into the cooled brownies, spreading evenly.
  10. Dust the top with cocoa powder. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
