- Hot pepper jelly, for filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheese, softened butter, flour, salt, and pepper until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Use your thumb or a small spoon to create a well in the center of each ball.
- Spoon hot pepper jelly into each well.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, use less hot pepper jelly or a milder jelly variety.
- Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
