Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a round baking dish.
  5. Divide dough into small pieces and layer loosely in the dish, sprinkling cheese and garlic between layers.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Brush with melted butter and garnish with parsley before serving.
