- 3 ripe bananas, mashed

- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients and stir until fully incorporated. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to press down evenly and form a compact layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown. Let cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to a week.
- For longer storage, wrap individually and freeze for up to 3 months.
- You can substitute bananas with applesauce for a different texture.
- Make vegan by using maple syrup and plant-based butter or coconut oil.
