- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in vanilla and apple cider.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- Top with caramelized apple slices and drizzle with apple cider glaze before serving.
Notes
- For caramelized apples, sauté apple slices with butter and brown sugar until golden.
- Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
