Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
- Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely.
- Heat heavy cream until just simmering, pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth to make ganache.
- Spread ganache over cooled cookies and sprinkle festive toppings as desired. Allow ganache to set before serving.

- Ensure cookies are completely cooled before applying ganache for best results.
- You can refrigerate cookies with ganache for 30 minutes to firm up the topping.
