Ingredients
Scale
- 8 small taco shells or waffle cones
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or whipped cream for topping
- Honey or strawberry syrup for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Choose your preferred taco shells or waffle cones as the base for your strawberry dessert tacos. Prepare them by setting aside for easy filling.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread or pipe the cheesecake filling into each taco shell or cone. Add a layer of sliced strawberries and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs and chopped nuts on top.
- Top each taco with a dollop of Greek yogurt or whipped cream. Drizzle honey or strawberry syrup for extra sweetness. Serve immediately for the best crunch.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute cream cheese with plant-based cream cheese or Greek yogurt.
- To keep the shells crispy, assemble just before serving. Fillings and toppings can be prepared in advance.
- You can batch prepare the fillings and sliced strawberries ahead of time.
