- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz (about 1 package) cheese tortellini
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley and grated Parmesan, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet; sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer.
- Add butter, salt, and black pepper. Once melted, stir in tortellini and cooked chicken.
- Cook until tortellini is tender and sauce has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- For a creamier sauce, add more heavy cream as needed.
- Serve with a side of garlic bread or salad for a complete meal.
