Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 large bell peppers (red and yellow), sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil
- Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Add sliced onions and peppers to the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until they soften slightly. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir well to combine and coat everything evenly. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes to meld flavors.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro. Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
