Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) of your favorite pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 1 cup Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor recommended)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Reduce heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and stir gently. Add Boursin cheese, breaking it apart and melting into the cream. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet. Toss well to coat evenly. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Transfer to serving dishes and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute the pasta with gluten-free options like chickpea or rice pasta for a gluten-free version.
- For an extra flavor boost, top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese or a drizzle of olive oil.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
