  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) of your favorite pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor recommended)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and stir gently. Add Boursin cheese, breaking it apart and melting into the cream. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet. Toss well to coat evenly. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Transfer to serving dishes and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute the pasta with gluten-free options like chickpea or rice pasta for a gluten-free version.
  • For an extra flavor boost, top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese or a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
