Ingredients
Scale
- 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces
- 8 oz burrata cheese, drained and torn into chunks
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and toast for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Combine cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss gently to mix all flavors creating a fresh tomato salsa.
- Once bread slices are toasted, top each with a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture. Add torn burrata pieces on top, allowing the creamy cheese to melt slightly. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze if desired.
Notes
- Assemble just before serving to keep the bread crisp and toppings fresh.
- Store leftover tomato mixture and burrata separately in airtight containers for up to 24 hours.
- For added flavor, sprinkle with additional herbs or chili flakes.
