- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Transfer beef mixture to slow cooker. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Add uncooked macaroni during the last 30 minutes; cook until tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
