Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of beef sirloin or chuck roast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce or tamari (gluten-free option)
Instructions
- Begin by cutting the beef into small, uniform bites to ensure even cooking and flavor absorption.
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, melted butter, soy sauce, honey, black pepper, and dried herbs. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the beef bites into the slow cooker. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef, making sure all pieces are coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender and juicy.
- Once cooked, transfer the beef bites to a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes for a slight crisp on the edges if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of beef broth during cooking for more moisture.
- Use a quick-release method if your slow cooker has a pressure function.
- Replace soy sauce with tamari for gluten-free diet options.
