Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 8 oz (225g) spaghetti or your preferred pasta
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Optional: red chili flakes for added heat
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and black pepper for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add red chili flakes if desired.
- Stir in honey to create a sweet and spicy sauce. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and sauce. Toss everything to coat well. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of honey and pepper to suit your taste preferences.
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for variation.
- Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.
- Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese or lemon juice for extra flavor.
