Easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser, it’s the go-to recipe for a delicious homemade dinner.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 8 oz (225g) spaghetti or your preferred pasta
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: red chili flakes for added heat
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and black pepper for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add red chili flakes if desired.
  4. Stir in honey to create a sweet and spicy sauce. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and sauce. Toss everything to coat well. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of honey and pepper to suit your taste preferences.
  • You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for variation.
  • Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.
  • Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese or lemon juice for extra flavor.
