Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 small bell pepper, diced
- ½ small red onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced olives, pepperoni, mushrooms, fresh basil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes to develop flavor.
- Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly in small oven-safe bowls or a baking dish. Top each with shredded mozzarella cheese and your favorite toppings like bell peppers, onions, or pepperoni.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the prepared bowls or dish in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil or oregano if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your crustless pizza that’s full of flavor and low in carbs.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes for best texture.
- Feel free to customize toppings according to your preference or dietary needs.
