Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cooked pasta
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and cook the sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until tender.
  3. Return sausage to the pot, add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and cooked pasta, cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan and parsley.
