  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 120°C (250°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and whip to stiff, glossy peaks.
  3. Gently fold in vinegar and cornstarch.
  4. Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet to form a circle with a slight indent in the center.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and let it cool completely inside the oven.
  6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  7. Spread whipped cream over the cooled meringue base.
  8. Top with an assortment of fresh fruits and garnish with mint leaves.
