- 4 large egg whites
- 200g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, etc.)
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 120°C (250°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and whip to stiff, glossy peaks.
- Gently fold in vinegar and cornstarch.
- Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet to form a circle with a slight indent in the center.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and let it cool completely inside the oven.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the cooled meringue base.
- Top with an assortment of fresh fruits and garnish with mint leaves.
