- For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Divide dough in half, roll each into a rectangle, and spread with cinnamon mixture if desired.
- Roll up each rectangle tightly, slice into 1/2-inch thick cookies.
- Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around edges.
- Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cookies.
Notes
- You can add a sprinkle of extra cinnamon or brown sugar before rolling for more flavor.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes for easier slicing.
