- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, sprinkles for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Mix in milk and vanilla until dough forms.
- Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into rectangles.
- Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar and caramel sauce for glaze. Once cookies are cooled, drizzle glaze over cookies and add sprinkles.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
