  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Mix in milk and vanilla until dough forms.
  4. Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into rectangles.
  5. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Mix powdered sugar and caramel sauce for glaze. Once cookies are cooled, drizzle glaze over cookies and add sprinkles.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
