  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 12 slider buns or mini sandwich rolls
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce or coleslaw mix
  • Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or sliced jalapeños
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Grill, bake, or pan-fry until cooked through, then shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar until smooth. Adjust spice to preference.
  3. Toss shredded chicken with the bang bang sauce until evenly coated.
  4. Spread a little of the remaining sauce on the bottom of each slider bun. Add the coated chicken, top with shredded lettuce or coleslaw, and garnish as desired.
  5. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately. For extra crunch, toast buns lightly before assembling.

Notes

  • Use fresh chicken for juicier, more flavorful sliders.
  • Adjust hot sauce and chili sauce for milder or spicier sliders.
  • Prepare the chicken and sauce ahead of time to enhance flavor melding.
  • Serve with crispy sides like sweet potato fries or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
